Peppermint hog - B. masuda or sepiacaudus

I recall that the peppermint hog was a rarity a few years back.

Its a beautiful fish, and I've always had an eye out for it and in all this time, I only just saw the first specimen i've ever seen in person.
Now its the B. opercularis and neopercularis that have stolen the stage and pushed the red-striped/peppermint hog to the background. But how do these original "peppermint" hogs fare in captivity? Anybody with experience please chime in.
I'd like to know if they get along with similar size fairy/flasher wrasses?
And if you dont mind, what the average price for one is nowadays?
I looked through some much older posts, and saw prices as high as 500$ but in 2009.

As well, with the stock of photos on the internet, it seems impossible to properly differentiate from B. masudai and B. sepiacaudus. There are photos of each fish stating that they are the other fish. I thought Masuda hogs had yellow along the rear dorsal area.
Whereas Sepiacauda has a more distinct red/white pattern of stripes.

Thanks for any info. I posted a similar thread in the FO forum. But this should be here!
