Perc's with Coral Beauty

Anybody ever have a problem with these two fish together? (90 gal) The Coral Beauty swims on over to the Clowns with their anemones at one end of the tank. I've read, they don't like fish around by them. But, they're fine with all my other fishes except this CB. Female Clown darts at CB, then CB darts back at clown. Then it's war. When feeding, CB doesn't like to allow the clowns to eat even if I feed CB at one end of the tank then feed clowns at their end. I feed 2-3 times a day. Mixed varietyof food. I pulled the CB out of the tank for now. Does time out work for SW fish? Or did I happen to get the Evil CB?
BTW. The CB is bigger then the Clowns. Should I had looked for a smaller one to start out with?

Thanks :)

Unfortunately all fish have their own personality. Smaller may not mean better. Clownfish, especially when protecting their home are quite violent. If you want to keep the fish you can try re-aqauscaping but chances are the Coral Beauty has an "alpha" personality and female clowns do as well.

It is highly likely that your coral beauty is wild caught and has developed (or already has) a taste for your anemone polyps and your clowns are defending their host.. Ive had the exact same thing with my butterfly and my angel so itlle keep going on and on until your coral beauty simply gives up.... And he likely wont...

The good news is your tank is big enough for your cb to escape to reel from the incident so you can either take the coral beauty out and swap for a flame angel, or another neutral centropyge, leave the situation as it is, or put something in to distract the cb's attention to the nem..... Quite what could be a clam, other coral or another nem, but this is the expensive solution...
