pest anemone,need help getting it out of my tank!

I have what is now becoming a pest anemone taking over. I think it is caled aptasia?Is there a crab or shrimp that will eat those darn things? they are brownish and 1"-2" in size. cute at first, but out of control now. thanks.P.S. I have a BTA and want to make sure it is ok with my new addition.

peppermint shrimp and butterfly fish, i put 2 peppermint in my 29 gall, it was all gone the next day

copperband butterfly fish will eat them and they are also beautiful and interesting fish. Great reason to buy a new fish

I have the same problem. The only thing I've tried are peppermint. I have tried about 10 of them over the years in three different tanks. NOT ONE lived for more than a week. They just disappear at night and you never see them again. I think they are stupid and jump into carpet anemones or something. I just don't know about them.

I have had good luck with peppermints eating aiptasia, however they do get annoying when I,m trying to feed other inverts, and they keep stealing the food away. From what I've read about the Copperband they can be very sensative and difficult to keep.
