Petco in Patchogue

Petco is removing their tanks in order to bring in updated systems. All fish are 30% off. I went there today and saw some clowns, gobys, peppermint shrimp, neon dotty back and some snails. There are also a few damsels left. There is also a panther grouper there for 39.99 with an additional 60% discount.

thank god..that fish section was terrible...hopefully it's better when it's done. I couldn't even look at the fish there. everything was so dirty and nasty.

Out of all the petcos i have been to i think their fish section was the nicest. The fish guy Tom that works there is a fellow hobbyist and he cleaned the place up.

Id have to agree with the fact that the petco in Patchogue has at least made an effort to have healthier livestock, including a small coral selection which I havent seen in other petcos. Someone there must care about the livestock, and im sure its not easy to do in their corporate structure. I hope they are rewarded with the updated system being good to them!

last i checked they were down to clowns, few damsels and a dotty back. the panther grouper is up for adoption for $2. He has eaten all of his tankmates. There is also 1 snowflake eel.
