PFO MH pendant electrical mod ?

I wish to purchase a PFO 250w MH pendant from another reefer. However, I need to use that pendant with a Hamilton ballast, but the quick-connect adapters are different. Is it easily possible to change out the power cord from the PFO pendant with one provided by Hamilton? Would there be a problem with such a mod? Here are pictures of the pendant with cord and of the replacement cord:

should be pretty simple to do, you could just cut the old cord and splice the ends of the new cord to it...just match the colors.
or the best way to do it is to take the fixture apart and find where the cord attaches inside. Its usually just a bare lead thats screwed on somewhere(or something similar). Just disconnect the old wire and connect your new one.

looked at your picture again, and if that is the exact pendant you are buying you can see where the wires have already been spliced at the yellow wire connectors. Just undo it there and reconnect your plug to it. just match the colors...white to white, black to black, and green to green..........

ideally you would just connect the new cord within the fixture itself and not have splices, exposed Marrets
