Pure RO/DI in a vacuum is hypothetically at a pH of 7 . Because it has so few ions, as AZDesertRat pointed out, any minor contamination will affect the pH test and make it meaningless.
A better test would be for Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). Water from an RO/DI should have a TDS of close to zero ppm.
