PH and RO/DI

Does RD/DI water can be at 7.5 of PH? is this an indication of bad water Quality?

i dont get your answer AZ....lets say my freshwater tank is at 7.0 ph. I want to make sure I dont ph shock the fish when I change the water. how do I know the ph of the rodi water if it cant be accurately measured?

So if my RO/DI is reading 7.5 of PH this indicates bad water quality?

Pure RO/DI in a vacuum is hypothetically at a pH of 7 . Because it has so few ions, as AZDesertRat pointed out, any minor contamination will affect the pH test and make it meaningless.

A better test would be for Total Dissolved Solids (TDS). Water from an RO/DI should have a TDS of close to zero ppm.
