PhosBan Reactor of filter pad

I have had a problem with phosphate and was looking at using a reactor of pads. What are your suggestions?

Go with the Phosban reactor. Great product (especially for the price). I've have one for almost a year now

Is the PhosBan media thatââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s used in this reactor safe on all coral? I had heard some soft coral could be harmed from it. Which was why I stuck with the pads. I was going to try the PhosBan Reactor 150 until I heard that.

That is a good question. Most of my corals are soft. How long do you get out of the pads and where do you get them?

I do not know that for a fact but I have heard of it. I usually keep mine a month. I clean them once a week. You can get the pads at this link.

Did those pads clear up your algae problem? Which ones do you use they advertise two different kinds.Thanks

I Just use the Phosphate Filter Pads General Maintenance which is the top one. I get a red cyano bacteria or red slime from using tap water which I heard creates that problem. I use a product called chemi-clean which removes the bacteria with out hurting macro algaeââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s.
