Phosban Reactor question

Just purchased the TLF Phosban reactor, and I'm not sure if I have the right pump to accompany it. I hooked it up to a Maxi Jet 1200, and the output is very slow.. it's almost like it's dripping out. The reactor is about 3 feet away, so do I need a stronger pump?

Nope, you want SLOW flow. To much flow will crush the phosban and send it spewing into your tank. I have my reactor "T'd" off my return line and I keep the ball valve almost all the way closed.

probably not, you want really low flow and the media should not tumble in the chamber at all, I use a minijet dialed way down for mine.

I have mine tumbling slowly and is working great. 3 feet away is def. to far, did you have to add your own tube? If so just cut it the length you need.

Yes, I am using my own tube (it didn't come with one). Unfortunately, I don't have room to put it any closer than 3 feet. I am currently getting low flow, which I understand is ideal, but I think my flow is TOO low. As I said, it's only dripping out. Thanks.
