phosban reactor setup problems

I got a stupid question. I got my second reactor this one from a different manufacture. my first one has the inlet and outlet that comes out the top and then bends out and the bends down so its pointing down to the water for me to add tubing. My problem is the new one comes out the top and bends but goes straight and not down toward the water. so if I place my tubing to the pump and place it on the tank won't it crink and not flow how you guys set yours up. pics would help

I just got a new phosban reactor with the same fittings you describe. I will probably just add a few elbows. I think the tubing would kink the way it is set up.

I use a long piece of hose on the outlet. It allows me to have no kinks or bends in it.
