Phosphate Reactor question..........

can i add phosphate media AND carbon in the phosphate reactor?????

if so do i have to pour the media in any order because the carbon seems a little heavier?

i run both I have po4 media in first then carbon on top of that seems to be ok

according to what I heard you can do that but the phosphate media needs to lightly tumble and run carbon full throttle so it is better to run them seperatly

AS Joe said. You want more flow through carbon than phosphate can handle.
