Photo-developing pumps for aquariums?

What do you think the feasibility is of using pumps previously used in photo-developing machines for an aquarium?
Assuming it's scrubbed very well, would a standard iwaki plastic pump housing leach anything back out?

I know most people would say it's not worth the risk, but has anyone done it?

Just curious.

and its most likely not made for a SW application.

i wouldnt do it.
