photo question?

I have been able to take good pictures up untill I changed blubs in my reef tank.
I did have a 10k and now I have a 14k. All my shots are now too blue. Is this a white balance problem? I have a Nikon 4800 point and shoot camera. I can adjust the white balance. Do you think this will take care of the problem?

yeap, use a length of PVC pipe placed in the tank to adjust your white balance and problem solved.

Your pictures in the full tank shot thread look good. Did you change the WB?

it does have a bright yellow but i don't know what the tank looks like in person......... on the WB are you placing the PVC in a place where it's getting direct light ?? that's what i do and it always adjusts out perfect, some people use a new coffee filter with good results but i don't drink coffee and the PVC is always handy.

In the full tank shot I reajusted the WB. I took a white lid and put in in the tank and shot thur glass. Is that the right way?

yes anything white placed inside the tank in direct light, then set the WB off that white object. that should give you a perfect WB for your lights.
