Phyto miracle !!

I set up the coke bottles with aeration, saltwater, miracle grow and boom out of nowhere green water in 3 weeks. Is this phyto ?

I guess that depends on what you are going to use it for. It might make your tank into pea soup. On the other hand it might make some fat and happy brine shrimp or copepod that you could then feed to your tank.

Yes it is phytoplankton. I wouldn't add it to your tank since you used miracle grow.

Why not? most people use the same miracle grow to grow phyto? look at melves reef etc.
