Would feeding live phyto help zoos propagate faster? I have a few frags and I would like them to start growing on the other rocks faster. Also, how often would I feed them?

normal its said that zoo's dont have to be fed. feeding anything will help it grow and or reproduce. i have mostly zoo's and the ones i have sitting under the area that i feed my fish took off from 5 polyps' to like 80 polyp's in a matter of 6 months.
so from that i do hand feed most my zoo's with a turkey blaster.
i fee twice a week right now was thinking maybe more pre week.
i mix in a cup of tank water 1.5 to 2 table spoons of plankton based on the size of my tank 75 gl. i also mix in some cyclops, and frozen brine Shrimp now i have been adding some Brine Shrimp that i have hatched and froze into squares. i dont mix much in of those items but i try to make it a little more meaty as to say.
like i said i mostly have zoa's , but i also have a bunch of differnt mushrooms and a sea fan and a couple ORA leathers. so if the zoa don't get it some one else will.
