Which bulb should I use for maximum growth over my 30g. I have either a :
175W XM 10k
or
175w Aquamedic 10k (sometimes referred to as American (13k) )
I have about 30w of t5 actinics that I use as well..
I want to keep some sps as well as softies plus LPS
Ballast is made my Hamilton, its a mogul pendent with the bulb oriented vertically. I can't tell if its Magnetic or electronic, as I bought it used and it has no markings of what style it is. It does have a vibration to it. i dont know if that is characteristiic of either ballast type or unique to this unit. I know not knowing exactly what balalst it is makes it harder to decide which bulb I should use but I don't know what more I can say about it.
