Well, a friend at a LFS called me and told me that he had a mantis for me.
A freebie, along with an Eclipse 12 (I treat him very well at the nightclub where I work...).
Hard to say no to a free mantis and tank.
(S)He is a BIG O scyllarus, perhaps 4.5-5", a full inch longer than Dagon, my other O.s.; the name is Hydra.
Anyone familiar with H.P.Lovecraft will get the references to Dagon and Hydra.
I'll try and get some pics tomorrow, once the little monster settles in a bit more.
