Picked up my first scoly!

Just picked up my first scoly and I am super excited. It's only been in the tank 2 days so it's still closed up. How long do they typically take to open up?

I was thinking that as well. I lowered my lights from 55% peak intensity to 25% so the coral can get adjusted.

Yes it was fully inflated at the store.

do you have a shaded area closer to the rocks? mine does best right up against the rock with a slight overhang above it for a bit of shade
