I figured I'd ask this here, since most other live rock people don't understand about TBS live rock.
I got a huge tube sponge on my first batch, but parts of it are turning white. Is it dying? Should I pull the whole thing?
This is just the first shipment of 30 pounds of rock and I've found 2 1/2" ceriths, a 1/2" whelk, a limpet that died, a mithrax crab of some flavor (very tiny), many feather dusters and barnacles, several corals and anemones, and we're hearing clicking sounds at night and in the morning.
Here are some pics. And what do I do about the sponge?
