The one with the P51 flying in between the F15 and F22 is freakin awesome. What a spectacle of American air superiority :)

Great pics

Oh how I miss the Military life....
Mel,I found an easy cure for that.I just wait till rain is forecast, then go into the back yard & dig a hole.Make sure it fills with water, then lay in it for about a week.Make sure you don't have much food & allow every insect to bite you.Just for good measure have the wife let off a few fire crackers every now & then. After the week is up,return to the house,to be informed you were in the wrong part of the back yard & that you will need to go back out,to the correct part.Works for me every time I start to miss it:)

Thanks guys! These shots are from the Pensacola Beach airshow (Blues on the Beach) last summer. I was using my Rebel XT, EF 70-200 F4/L, and a Hoya 77mm circular polarizer.

A couple more:

On this one at fullsize, you can make out the names under the cockpit windows. :D

I wish this one was sharper, but I love the vapor over the wings...

we were there on sunday, with a little different vantage point, with 2 photographers we took close to 2k photo's, so far here's my favorite shot, but we have only gone through 100 of them. got work sometime .. . .

That would make me the other photographer...(and a lurker here)

First off, here's my perch. Big thanks to VonRavin and his gf for inviting me...This spot is hard to beat for shooting the show, and there weren't as many people on the roof as I expected! I'm not going to show this one here, it's a panorama, and very long, so take a look in another window, that way I don't screw everyones windows up here!
