I moved my chaeto from the middle of my sump because it was getting in my T4 return pump , and it didnt look like it was growing well. SO I put a HOB Refugium on my sump , I drilled out the 3/4" return bulkhead to make it a 1" bulkhead , so it gravity feeds to sump not U suction to sump. I am using a Mag 2 in sump to pump the water to the refugium , I angled the intake into the refuge so the water would have a nice flow in the refugium. So far everything is working great. I will see how the growth goes in a few weeks. Here are some pics

It has been 1 1/2 weeks now that my chaeto has been in the hob refugium instead of in the center of my sump. The growth is way better, I would say the chunck of chaeto has more then doubled in size and density, dark green though out . Before when it was in my sump it was getting white in the strands and just dieing and getting smaller . In the sump it just floated at top of water and had lots of bubbles in it , in the refugium I have the eggcrate to hold it under the water , and the water flow threw it is more constant at about 200-250 g / hour.
