Here are some pics of the coral pack I got from MGNY this week. Awesome, I believe. Before this, my new tank had NO corals, so whatever you see was in the pack! No, my tank is not greenish like that. Its a combination of the camera work and the reflections of the microbubbles - Any help with the microbubbles is appreciated!

Nice selection! Good luck with them.
MicroBubbles:
have the return from your skimmer go through a filter pad or foam block before returning to your tank. that will get rid of the micro bubbles. at least it works in my tank..

That rock you have is REALLY good looking stuff it is covered! that does seem like alot of bubbles. Your skimmer starting them? I put filter socks on and put some filterpads in the last chamber of the sump/

Thanks for comin by Boneh. How long were you gluin and how much glue ended up on you! Hopefully it will grow into this.

Chuck - what kind of pad/block and how do I set it up? As you respond, please think "Reefkeeping for Dummies". You know, that's probably a good idea.

Thanks cat!

Bob, Thanks - I was lucky enough to have too much rock in my other tank and I didn't have to buy any.

Yes, it might be the skimmer, or it might be the crazy problem I am having with my overflow and drain. I started a thread on that in the "New To The Hobby" forum. I will try foam or pads, once I figure out how.

I look forward to sharing these guys when they grow out.

Mike - I didn't do too bad for a first gluing. I found a Lowe's open on the way home and glued for about a half hour. Everything is still in place.

I use Uncut Blue Bonded Filter Pad or poly filter pads http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/NavResults.cfm?N=2004+113810 I cut them to fit on top of the section in your refugium where your return to tank pumps are in. that way the return water has to pass through this padding trapping the microbubbles.

You can also get one of those plastic fish holders ( I forgot their name...the ones they use in the LFS when they take the fish out of the tank to bag) you drill holes on the bottom and sides insert a fuval foam block inside the container and run the output from your skimmer through it.

Thanks - so far, I have put a filter pad around the hose that drains from the tank, and a circular foam thing from my old seaclone around the return from the sump, with a very substantial decrease in bubbles. I might just try that floating filter pad too. Its such a relief when you get rid of those bubbles.
