Nice fish. I hate to pop your bubble but I think you have a male and a "sub-male" or small male that is going to turn into a big male since it has yellow on it. Females are usually all red. But it could turn back to red or I could be wrong. Either way, they are both very nice fish.

Agreed. They may coexist, but that fish isnt a female, IMO. I wouldnt try to add any more flames, of any sex.

So, if that is the case, will the smaller one continue to change, or not based on the fact that a larger, already present male is there?

DO they revert to female?

THe tank is 220g, so, with two males present, what can I expect to happen, the dominant oen get more colorful?

And why not add a female?
