Yeah, but I doubt it's real. I was thinking Photoshop, but who knows for sure? I'm sure the foxface would eat it, but I'd be surprised if the butterflys would.

From what I understand of it, the sugar creates a bacteria boom that pulls nitrates, but the cycle can easily crash and cause more problems than you started with. Vodka is another potentially thin lined fix. I've never done either or considered either, so that is just what I understand of it... (gotta love the disclaimer;)).
 
would reducing the nitraites kill off red bubble algae? I need to do a water change and I am running a skimmer on the tank.
