Hello fellow RC'ers
I have a 75 gallon reef tank that has been up and running for about 6 months. My Pincushion urchin was doing fantastic for the last 4 but I have noticed a gradual decline in its health? It appears to be losing spines on top, and there is a black spot,almost a hole in his side. It does not look good. He continues to move about but I noticed that he does not have the agility to go up and down the rocks, or to right himself like he used too.
I have not added any chemicals to my water. I tested everything and it nothing has changed between when I got him and now. What could be happening here? Should I be adding some type of trace elements to the water? I appreciate the help. We are newbies here.
