Pink foam under tank question

I've read/seen in almost all builds that the pink extruded foam is used and recall that the pink foam is the only one to be used. last night I went to my local menards to pick up 1" foam and they now only stock a yellow one( different brand) that apparently has the same specs/ratings as the pink one (different manufacturers)... so is it ok to use something other than the pink foam... should I return this and get the 1.5" in pink which they have in stock?

Yup this is for a glass tank, ~210G custom starfire with a 1/2" bottom. I have always used the white "expanded" styro in the past but they were all smaller tanks less than 100G's...I always thought the white styro has a better composition to even out anything less than flat... but with so many people using the pink..I'm sure there's something I need to know

Miracles recommended I use the 3/4" white styrofoam under my tank. I bought it at Home Depot, and I recall Miracles saying the pink stuff is too rigid.

I'm pretty sure it was the 3/4" Polyshield. I has a reflective backing on one side. I recall if you break it apart, it crumbles into BB sized pieces.
