Pink mushroom good then bad now getting better??

Got this mushroom the other day. It opened on first 2 days but then got very closed and started having white sections. I changed the carbon and now he seems to be opening a little and maybe ok now? He is still very pale. Maybe he is getting too much light?

Please help!

Tank is 10 Gal but only has 5 small frags in it.
Light is marine land reef capable LED light fixture.

Looks like too much light, Rhodactis are really low light mushrooms and I usually acclimate them in nearly complete darkness for at least the first week. I'd put it in the shade asap and very slowly move it into more light after it starts looking better.

I moved him under the rock to give him some shade. Also, I did a water change and the alk is closer to NSW now and he opened up again today. Think he is feeling better. Thank you.
