Pipe in Siphon Flow Rate Chart?

Ok, I've seen the calculator on the home page for flow rates/pipe size, but it looks to me like that is for a durso-type setup. Is there a chart or calculator for flow rates through pipes at full siphon?

I'm designing my setup for up to 800 GPH and want to know if a single 3/4" pipe will handle that under siphon or if I'll need to go to 1". I remember seeing that 1" with siphon will handle around 2k GPH so I'm guessing 800 through 3/4" should be fine, but I can't find anything to confirm my guess...

Thanks!

velocity(v) = sqrt (2*g*h)

Flow = Area X Velocity

This does not include any frictional losses which will be greater in the smaller pipe.

g = acceleration due to gravity (9.8 m/s^2)

h = height. This is what was throwing me, BeanAnimal's drawing on the link helped a ton. Apparently that's the part of the formula that changes with a siphon.

Area = area of inside of the pipe.

As RWEngineer pointed out, things will vary with additions to friction (slope of pipe, elbows, etc.) but should be in the ballpark.

The tricky part is getting all the conversions right so you end up with gallons per hour :)
