Pipe organ algae

Probably can't see it well on pic but I have some algae growing on my pipe organ coral. Will this hurt it? I can't really get it off. Am afraid to try and use the little brush I use on the rocks.

Not the best photo but I don’t think that’s pipe organ coral. Use tweezers to pull out the hair algae

You can do a 50% old tank water/50% hydrogen peroxide dip for a few minutes then rinse in more old tank water and see how that goes..
It will tick off the coral for a bit but shouldn't hurt it long term..

Other than that its all manual work and in general it can cause problems with the corals growth..
 
I’ll give it a try with tweezers and if I can’t get it I’ll try dip. What kind of coral is it if not pipe organ?
 
i think they're clove polyps of some type. pipe organ has a reddish/purple hard skeleton with hard tubes that the polyps come out of. here's a photo of mine for example:
