PLacement of Calcium Reactor

I have a used Schuran Pica reactor and I'm tryig to figure out the best location for placement on my 125 setup. If I place it under the tank it gets a little crowded. If I place it to the left of the display tank in the stand that holds my skimmer, sump and top off tank it places the unit above any available tank water source. That concerns me due to the fact that the pump on the reactor would not be primed on startup.

Would that not be a problem?
