Plan for my 75

Here is the plan I drew for my 75. The tank on the left will be a 30g breeder that will be used as a refugium. I havent figured out what I am doing for a sump yet. It might be a 29g though. Return will be mag12. Everyone let me know what you think.

I know your picture isn't to scale, but make sure you have a big enough return area in your sump so you don't have to top off evap every day. Also, having an "over" baffle before the return area will mean that the water falls into the return area - increasing the probability of having microbubbles.

I Mag12 should give you plenty of flow - make sure the pipe from the refugium to the main tank is oversized so it can handle the flow.

Looks good.

Make sure your sump is at least 40 gallons. You will have a lot of water coming down if you shut off the pumps or the power dies. Leave yourself pleanty of space for about 15 or 20 gallons of water.

One more thing I noticed is that you can eliminate a t least 2 90 degree joints by just fliping your sump around. By doing so your pump will have a lot more flow.

The returns should not be in the same chamber as the skimer is. you will have a lot of bubbles coming from the return. The skimmer pump will suck them up and go crazy at times and at times it will suck in too much water and overflow. It will be almost impossible to adjust the skimmer.
