Planning a Bangaai Cardinal Breeding Set Up. Any comments and suggestions

I am going to buy bangaai cardinals in the next month with the intention of breeding. I was planning on buying 5 healthy BC and placing them in a 29 gallon tank with two sponge filters, a couple of overturned flowerpots, caulerpa and a barrier separating the tank into two halves.

I was going to place all 5 fish in one half of the tank and when the first pair forms, I will move this to the other side of the barrier. If I am lucky and another pair forms, I will remove the "third wheel" and give this away. If no other pair forms perhaps I can exchange one or two at the pet store.

I was planning of feeding my BC live enriched brine shrimp, copepods and amphipods. Supplemented with frozen mysis shrimp.

What do you think of this set up and strategy?

Also does anyone know if there are specific parameters that increase success?
I was planning on using these
12 hours Day/12 hours Night with dual 24" T5
Specific Gravity 1.020
Temp 72-75F

Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks!
