planning for a tall tank

My tank is 36" x 18", but a whopping 30" tall. I don' t plan to invest in a massive light system, but something adequate that won't break the bank. I have 192 watts of PC lights already. I will have RO/DI water. So I need to know how that limits me as far as the newbie fish, inverts, types of hardy corals, etc. Any suggestions how to start off? It will be a slow progression- non-aggressive fish (after cycling with live rock), cleanup crew, then what?....I would like some interesting and colorful species, hardy, somewhat common so I can find them locally....Featherdusters?anemones, leathers, zoas.......

Fish don't really care about the strengh of the light, however their colors will be better under better lighting. I've got 192 on my 40 gallon and it's enough for shrooms and maybe xenia. If you are serious about keeping some more demanding corals I would upgrade to T5 or halides.
