Hello all! New to to the forum, looking for some input on various things, I thought I'd put this here and not the beginner forum since I'm not really looking for anything too important and would hate to take away from more crucial questions. To start, my tank is 72 gallon with 80 pounds of live rock and 80 pounds of live sand. Two filters and a skimmer for filtration. I've kept Brackish fish for over 6 years now, so I'm familiar with keeping water parameters in check, doing fills and changes, etc. What I'd like to do is basically get some opinions on livestock. I've been doing research everyday on various marine species, but I thought it would be great to hear some specific experiences with certain fish and get some recommendations on specific species to check out, I'm not looking to add anything until the tank is more established. With that said, I have two clowns ( I believe false percs, they were sold to me as true but after looking at some pics and info, I'm dubious.), a dozen small red leg hermits, and two peppermint shrimps. Species I'm looking into are Algae Blennies (worried about possible aggression), six lined wrasse (again, aggression and the devouring of my shrimp) and perhaps some gobie species. Valentini puffers interest me greatly but after keeping figure eights for years, Ive ruled them out. A Splendid Mandarin would be amazing to keep, but without a sump/fuge I know I just couldn't keep the proper amount of pods. But, please, I am looking for peoples suggestions for community fish and inverts. Oh, as one last note, my girlfriend is dying to add a starfish. Any suggestions? I know they need an established tank, but like the thread says, looking into the future. Thanks so much everyone, and please mods, if this belongs in the Beginner forum, feel free to move it (apologies in advance!)
