'planting' C. Prolifera

Just got some for my 44g corner tank -- do I need to 'plant' the holdfasts in the sand, or just let it lay there and it will root itself in time?

No need to plant. Just let it lay there. If there is any current, however, they might travel where you don't want them to go. If so, just tie them to a rock. You could probably super glue too.
