Plasti dip reef safe?

I am wanting to split a tank in 2 with a glass devider but want it blacked out so im wondering if useing plasti dip on the glass is safe?

Just as another option, you could smear a layer of black silicone on the glass. I did this for my internal overflow. It's probably only 1/32 of inch thick and it fairly easy to smooth it when applying it.

That would prob be the safest way, i will prob go that route.
