Plate Coral Recovery/Saving

A few months ago I saved a plate coral from its end in the live rock bin at my LFS, since then its made a fairly decent recovery, but its never inflated during the days. The tissue lays flat against the skeleton, during the night it will inflate slightly, not anything close to other plate corals that i have seen. I have been feeding it a varied diet of mysis, cyclopeeze and formula 1 cubes. I have tried silversides as well but unless its chopped up they appear to be to large for it to consume.

Does anyone have any other suggestions? or should i continue on and it will continue to recover.

It's wounded. It will take time to heal. Plate corals are slow growing, esepcially after they have been sickly.
