Yeah, I have a little bit of that in my aquarium. Looks like it's plating quite nicely for you. I really like the look of it.

Hey thanks for the pic. I can't say I've seen it spread that far out like it's a montipora or something. Just curious, what's your lighting and how far down in the tank is this stuff?

Lighting is 250w 20k mh it seems to grow in lower light areas when I first saw it in my friends tank I thought it was some kind of mini montipora I really like it

i had something like that in my tank, only bright orange. plated the same way, quite beautiful actually. dont think it was coraline though. lost it all after a huge macro algea outbreak and had to scrub down all the rocks.

I haven't seen it in bright orange. That probably looked really cool. The other color I do have is a sort of rusty reddish-orange. Mine also seems to grow like that in areas of my tank that are a little shadowed. I'm running 5x39W T-5s.

i was and still am running four 39w t5's. the individual plates got to be about the size of a half dollar coin. not quite sure where it came from, maybe on live rock but im not sure. i might have a pic of it somewhere on my laptop.
