Not sure what kind of advice you're looking for but I don't QT zoas, not sure if others do.

IME its better to dip and then go into the tank (on the bottom). And slowly moving them up to acclimate to the light.

For dips I use and iodine based one then Revive. I don't use a slow drip either. JUst temp acclimate, then dips with mixed water, then into the tank.

Good luck, looks like you have a few sensitive zoas that have poor history (African blues and Fruit Loops and FWIW- you can't collect zoas in Japan).

Do you know which ones haven't opened?

This is exactly what I'm looking for. I have gotten different advice from different people and went a real conservative route. I think the ones that are not opening are the african blue hornets and the tubbs blue colony polyps but in all my attention to acclimation and dipping I forgot to write down what was what!! The MDT certainly has better flow and lights...but do you think the QT is Adequate, In other words should I just place in the MDT now...perhaps retreat with coral rx,( or something else?) There are no hitchhikers or large strands of algae but I need to go over it with a magnifying glass.
Thanks

I agree with zooty. I dip/acclimate pretty much the same.

I would possibly quarentine if the dip proved to show bad hitchikers/predetors, but other wise go strait to the display.

I see no need to retreat, as long as inspection has not revealed any nudi eggs.

The tubbs can be a sensitive polyp. They may be getting too much direct light to open in the quarentine tank.
