I finally cleaned my glass a bit and tried some pics. I took these pics with a Canon powershot A560. I got it last year as just something to take basic pics with and I wanted to see what it could do. I deleted the pics from the camera so I can't find what settings I had, but when the MH goes off I'm gonna try to get some more pics. I kind of messed with the ISO to see what was best but I didn't notice any differences. Also any time I went into zoom my pics got distorted. Anything I can do to fix this. The last pic is the best representation of this.

Zoom isn't all its cracked up to be. Getting closer with less zoom is almost always preferred to farther away with more zoom. In you bottom picture you simply missed the focus point. The camera locked onto the rock behind instead of the coral. Even the rock is a bit blurry which was an indirect result of the zoom.

You should always use ISO 100 unless you just can't get a sharp image.

All images seem overexposed (camera picked the wrong settings). Use your exposure compensation...I would guess -1/2 to 1 stop. You are lucky that the tank is too bright for what you are trying to do. This problem is easily overcome, unlike the opposite problem of not enough light.

The top two images look pretty decant considering what you have to work with. I wouldn't expect too much more out of the camera. Do decrease that exposure compensation though. It will take all the pure white out of your rocks, giving them color instead.
