Please help! don't know what's wrong!

Hey there, I need some help with this tang; it's my friends and he just got it on friday. He told me when he woke up this morning it looked like this. Note the white area below the dorsal fin, and its identical like that on both sides. The fin itself looks a bit swollen. He said that when he got home he put the fish (in bag) on the kitchen counter and that it rolled off. I personally think its some sort of bruise, but I figured I'd ask and see what you all thought. Thanks in advance for the help!

Dont know what was wrong but hippo tangs are very susceptible to diseases I think
