I was moving some rock work around about a month ago and spotted this encrusting whatever. Gave it the advantage of some light and flow and its rowing rather quickly. Got any ideas?

Are you talking about that yellow thing on the bottom left of that rock in the center?

no the brown thing with green dots on it above and to the left.

It's very pretty, I'd say some kind of encruating sps, ask in the forum.

looks like a type of encrusting monti to me too.

Wrong polyp structure to be a Montipora, but I cant tell what it is. Any chance of getting a really close picture of it?
