While admiring my slice of the ocean I noticed the clove polyps my wife picked up for me were all retracted before lights out which is pretty strange, the did look a little beat up. I put it off as just another mowing by my turbos (I've seen them just run it right over and I swear on of the ate a couple polyps). I came back for a little night inspection and caught this guy. Obviously if he was munching my cloves I don't think I want him in the tank, but I'm floating him in the sump for now.

On second note I'm positive that either the nudi or the clove shot out a poof of something... Should I be worried?

Thanks in advance

It's a tritoniid, probably an undescribed species of Marionia. They all feed on gorgonians or soft corals though, so it's almost definitely your culprit and you'll want to take it out.

Its a pity I love nudis if only they didn't eat corals. They look so cool it really is a pity to have to throw them out. :sad1:
