I'm not sure on this one, but it looks like colonial tunicates
 
Because tunicates often wither away and die in the home aquarium. They are filter feeders and fare poorly. There are some very beautiful types of tunicates though. Here is an example.

I'll try to get professional camera to take better pictures of this, I'm surprised it's made it so far. Had it for about 2 months now. It actually started annoying me since it was taking space from the zoo's. To these grow big?
 
hmmmmmm, they're not on sale on liveaquaria nor marinedepotlive, any ideas as to what they like/dislike?
 
They're filter feeders which take in very fine particulates from the water. They often starve because there's not enough food in the right size range for them.
