I came across this tank searching nanos and would love to imitate this to a tee, Marcelo is the owner that is mentioned in the article , it sounded familiar as though I have seen the name on here but cant find him in member directory under that name, than again, might not even be a member. If not do you guys have any idea from looking at the pic how he ran his filtration? I just see what looks like 2 drain looking pieces going in,one for overflow and one for return.

I am working with the same exact space as in the pic, With the filtration off on the end and not centered will that still be sufficient, meaning enough water flow?

Anyone out there have any ideas on how he did this and how I could get started on it? thank you much

That gets blocked.

The guy is outside the USA so it maybe a custom or not here.

Why not ask at that site?

Good call, I think im going to contact the author. Why won't site post? Also how did you come up with it's in another country?

They are blocked by RC.
The reason is probably not important but not every website will show up here. Private website = they decide who gets in.

Mainly because of the Japanese spot lights that were used to light the tank were not/have not been available here in the US at the time of the article.

Oh wow, very good observation. Why do people use those led spot lights, mainly for smaller tanks?

It opens the top of the tank up, can be stylish and allows you to highlight a specific area of the tank such as a small bommie or a clam.

There was one tank here that was circular and the builder used larger Japanese spotlights with the wings to better direct the beams. It was a really cool build but I have no idea who it was or if the tank is still up. I think he took it down at some point.

he just might have a TOTM in his future, that's something serious, lights do accent what you want quite a bit, for example his Acan garden. Appreciate you showing me that
