My Royal Gramma doesn't look very healthy. He is in a QT/hospital tank right now, due to an ich outbreak (never again!). The SG is 1.009, but otherwise the water is normal. I have just finished treating the tank with anti-biotics, as one of my fish had some nasty infections. He looks 99% OK, but the gramma is not any better. His fins have been slowly deteriorating in the QT tank, but I don't see any white fuzz or haze to them. His eyes are slear too. He is very sluggish, but he showed some interest in food yesterday. I think it looks like a would on his side, but I don't really know. He is not being harassed, but his side of the tank does have the bubbles from a sponge filter, which makes him kind of bounce in the water, as he sits near the top. Could these marks be from rubbing against the mesh of the divider? What should I do for this guy? I guess I have more than one problem, but what medication should I use for the fins? A different anti-biotic? I have just finished two courses of Furan-2 by Aquarium Pharmeceuticals. It claims to treat a wide variety of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It helped my other fish (cleared up their fins and eyes) but not so much for the gramma. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Alex

EDIT: I just wanted to mention that he has been in the QT for a week as of the 8th, and that the loss of scales/color seems to be symmetrical.
