PLEASE Help me choosing a camera

I can't make up my mind.
If it is for myself, I'll just pick anything in silver.
It's for my wife as a mother's day gift and she is into PINK.

I narrowed my search down to two.

It'll mostly be used to take pictures of our 2 year old child, so no special gadgets needed.

I'd like to hear from ladies.
Which one would you get if you are buying one for yourself?

Looks are a very silly basis on which to buy a camera, and your links don't even work. "Silver" and "Pink" don't take pictures...unless its "Black" as most cameras worth their salt only come in this color.

I don't care for that hot pink color, personally. I prefer the red one or their pastel pink.

Yeah I saw that pastel pink too...its "cute" but the red one is a much better camera so I didn't post it.
