I bought an Apex controller and a trendnet wireless game adapter. I cannot figure out how to get my apex hooked up to the internet at all. I have tried to hook up my computer to the apex as well as the game adapter. I have a macbook pro and i really really need help.

How do i get it hooked up? Simple terms please i am not the best with this computer lingo

Have you read the Unofficial Users Guide stickied at the top of the forum? It has a whole section on configuring the Apex for internet access.

Same issue as mike but, I did use a pc. And I have only been able to have it running fir 9 hours then it doesn't work wirelessly. What gives is the trendsnet gaming thing compatable. It works then doesn't.

I am lost.

Per your other thread, I believe your problem is specific to the gaming adapter and not a matter of Apex configuration. As I mentioned before, I had the same problem and ended up going hardwired. If that is not feasible, then I would try a different wireless adapter.

Thank you I might end up having to pay someone to run the hard line as it seems that would remove a variable.

you know what I ended up doing was configuring the trendnet adapter by plugging it into my computer and doing the manual set up. This worked great. Now however I cannot seem to figure out how to get this thing to email me when things go wrong. But im working on that as we speak.

So wicked I would try just doing an manual install of the game adapter.

BUMP i have got my router and apex hard wired.... the green and yellow lights are on in the ethernet port but the yellow is NOT blinking..I cannot figure out where to get all the info to match to the APEX info of "network perameters as per the unofficial manual Subnet Mask / Net Mask
