PLEASE HELP!! This has taken over...

This gray crap has taken over most of my tank...

It covers most of my live rock and almost everything else. What is it and how can I get rid of it?

It even grows over my sps!!! I might be upgrading to a bigger tank, but I don't want to bring this into it. Please Help!!

Wow..Never seen anything like that. It does look like some kind of sponge. Could you get a whole tank shot and give us a little more info on your set up? Like tank parameters..At this point if your planing on upgrading to a bigger tank, I dont think you should at any rock from that tank.
 
Looks like sponge to me as well, and quite an invasive one at that. If you're upgrading and can relocate your livestock temporarily, you might consider removing the infested rock, taking off what you can by hand, and then leaving it exposed to the air for a bit. If it's a sponge, it should die. You'd then need to re-cure the rock, and/or 'cook' it, and it will STINK -- nothing smells so awful as dead sponge -- but it should get rid of the problem. If you'll be curing a lot of new rock anyway, it might be worth considering.
 
It peels right off glass, but it doesn't come off the rocks easily. It gets in every nook and crany of the rocks so I can really scrape it off.
