Please help with finding a power adapter for some fans

Ok, I'm trying to power 2 computer fans that will go into my canopy. Their input specs say rated voltage of 12V DC and rated current of 0.10A.

What I dont understand is how do these 2 numbers apply to the power adaptors. I have look at all the adaptors laying around the house and they are all diffrent. The power adaptor I would like to use says it has an output of 12V DC and 1000mA. Is it ok that the current is quite a bit higher? Can 2 fans run on this one? Thanks :strooper:

The 12V is the voltage of the supply. It should always match what your device is you are powering.

the 1000mA is the current rating of the power source, it should be greater than the device's requirement... otherwise you will overload the adapter and break it.
