PLEASE HELP with my blue maxi

Hi all
I have a blue maxi clam that has fine and opening when lights are on. However yesterday i went out for they day and on my return my clam was fully closed up and my two cleaners seem to be pestering it. This morning the clam is still closed and my peppermeint started to pester it digging in the small gap of the clam. The clam hasnt opened since. Do you think that i have lost this clam or is closed for protection????

try moving him. they may be trying to get him to move to another part of the tank. REEF-ON!!!

how long have you had the clam?

what lighting do you have?

for now i would cut the top off of a clear 2L bottle to make a dome, drill some holes for water flow and place it over the clam to keep the shrimp away.

most of the time shrimp wont bother a clam unless it is weak, when they are the shrimp can sense it and come in to clean up

How about water parameters? As mbbuna said, the clam is weak, and we need to find out why.
